Mustache Monday

Edward James Bartholomew Werder IV, Esquire
Alright, time for a new series on Ed Werder's Mustache. Welcome to Mustache Monday! Our first subject? Well, I guess we should start with the man this blog is named after.
Werder was born May 3, 1960 in Longmont, Colorado. Many people do not know this, but he actually had a brief stint as a sheriff in Reno, Nevada before beginning his career as a journalist.

He's like a law enforcement cheetah.
He soon grew tired of administering swift justice and enrolled in the Journalism and Communications program at the University of Northern Colorado. After graduation, he jumped around the country, from Boulder, Colorado, to Orlando, Florida, before finally settling in as a Dallas beat writer. He now works with ESPN, trolling the Cowboys every possible chance he can.

His list of accomplishments, from his bio on ESPN:
At the Dallas Morning News, Werder won an award for a series of reports chronicling the deteriorating relationship between Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and then head coach Jimmy Johnson. He broke the news that Johnson would be replaced by Barry Switzer as the Cowboys coach after Johnson had rebuilt the team and won back-to-back Super Bowls. Werder is also credited for breaking news about rising problems in the Dallas Cowboys locker room in 2008, concerning wide receiver Terrell Owens and culminated in his release from the organization.
More recently, he enjoyed documenting the cold, dark hell known as the Cowboys 2010 season that cost Wade Phillips his job. Bravo, Ed. Bravo.
