Mustache Monday - Brad Childress Done Got Himself Fired Edition

At least you can always take solace in your killer 'stache, Chilly.
Earlier today, the great Brad Childress was relieved of his duties as head coach of the Minnesota Vikings. Sources close to the situation believe it's because he's horrible at his job. Vikings have named Leslie Frazier interim head coach.

The Vikings embarrassed themselves yesterday, losing 31-3 to the Packers. Quarterback and noted drama queen Brett Favre said in a postgame news conference that he was going to go home and "re-evaluate". Well that's shocking. What's he going to do now that Childress is gone? He's the last guy in Minnesota who thought Favre could still play

Let's face it. His players hated him. He recently got in a spat with Percy Harvin. He let the Favre drama go on way too long. He royally screwed up by throwing away a 3rd round pick for Randy Moss and cutting the guy a month later. The only reason he hung around as long as he did was because the Vikings were able to finagle a win from the slightly more dysfunctional Wade Phillips-led Cowboys.

When asked if he would consider hiring Childress as a personal chauffeur, Brett Favre said "No comment."
